The host was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities. We also loved the location, with a beautiful park right next door and a great pub across the street. the ability to leave our bikes safely in the walled garden was also a huge plus.
Felt spoilt, no complaints.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. Its central location is perfect for exploring the area, and the lovely views towards the Cheviots are an added bonus. The rooms are well-equipped, with fridges and microwaves, and the shared bathroom in the basement is clean and convenient. Breakfast was also a satisfying start to the day.
All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations and I couldn't find anything to fault.

This hotel was perfect for our family getaway. We stayed for a few nights and had a fantastic time. The building is centrally located and offers a stunning view of the river. The owners, Mhairi and Ged, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated. It was a refreshing change to have enough sleeping space for everyone, with two double beds and a single. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a well-placed TV in bed. In addition, there was a lovely walk along the river just behind the hotel. We can't wait to return in the summer.
Can recommend this hotel.

Perfect position with a stunning view of the river. The owner is a lovely lady who made us feel welcome and even allowed us to switch to a room with a view. Good tea and coffee facilities. Late check-in at 10 pm was much appreciated.
Nothing not too like.
